Nurses from around the world are being honored as the top 10 finalists for the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2023 have been announced. These exceptional nurses, hailing from countries including UAE, Kenya, Panama, Ireland, Singapore, England, Philippines, India, Portugal, and Tanzania, were selected from a pool of 52,000 registered participants from 202 countries.
The selection process was rigorous, with the finalists undergoing a thorough review by Ernst & Young LLP, a Screening-Jury, and the Grand Jury. The public also has the chance to cast their vote for their favorite nurse starting next week. The grand winner, who will receive a cash prize of $250,000, will be determined after a final evaluation by the Grand Jury, consisting of top industry leaders in the field of nursing.
Dr. Azad Moopen, the Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, paid tribute to the dedication and hard work of nurses globally. “Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system and deserve to be recognized for their tireless efforts,” he said. “With over 50,000 nurses vying for the award, choosing the top 10 was a challenging task for the jury, but each finalist has made a significant impact in the field of nursing.”
