Aster@Home bags ‘Best Home Health Care Brand’ in India

Aster@Home, a project by Aster Mims, Kozhikode has been bestowed with the ‘Best Home Health Care Brand in India’ award by the Integrated Health & Well-being (IHW) Council. Considered as the Oscar’s of Indian Healthcare, IHW Digital Health Awards are thoughtfully designed and initiated to identify and recognize the remarkable contribution of the government & private institutions, companies, social entrepreneurs and individuals in the digital health, healthcare and environment market space.

The awards cover a wide gamut of new initiatives and ventures into waste management, pollution control, clean air, alternative fuels & renewable energy, e-mobility and much more towards developing a holistic health environment and well-being for masses. Dr. Jesheera Mohammed Kutty (Family Medicine Consultant) and Deepa R (Home Care Coordinator, Head Nurse) received the honor on behalf of Aster MIMS, Kozhikode.

Speaking about receiving the award, Mr. Farhan Yasin, CEO- Aster@Home, Aster DM Healthcare said, “During the Covid-19 pandemic, people became anxious to visit hospitals and opt for direct consultations. The Aster Mims’ project ‘Aster@Home’ is a program where the concerns of such people were addressed, especially the elderly and those who faced difficulty in visiting a hospital, our aim was to bring quality healthcare to people’s homes with improved and simpler solutions. We are honored to receive the award for IHW’s Best Home Healthcare Brand in India, and this would not have been possible without the organized services and the teamwork of Driver’s, Aster Lab Staff, Nursing Assistants, Nurses and Doctors”.

Aster @ Home also recently received the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation, dedicated to improving healthcare quality and safety around the world.
