The Ambernath plant of CEAT Specialty recently received a prestigious five-star rating from the British Safety Council. The award comes after a comprehensive audit of the plant’s occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices. The audit process included a review of documentation, interviews with management, employees, and stakeholders, and an operational activities assessment.
The achievement garnered praise from the British Safety Council’s CEO, Mike Robinson, who described the rating as reflective of a proactive organization committed to continual improvement in health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety, and wellbeing.
