The CPHI Pharma Awards 2023 is now open for entries, celebrating innovation and social responsibility across the industry. The awards will recognise global leaders from across 12 categories, including three new ones introduced this year to reflect the surge of innovation and social goals in the industry.
The new categories added this year are for new methodologies, sustainability and philanthropic initiatives. The Accelerating Innovation award (formerly Covid Response category) recognises companies that have made significant contributions to combating the impact of global healthcare emergencies. The Start-up award honours exhibitors from the start-up zone. This category will showcase projects at proof-of-concept stage to prototype or commercial launch. Finally, the Heart of Pharma award celebrates the acceleration of social, ethical and philanthropic activities.
Returning categories include development and manufacturing of devices and drugs, alongside packaging, supply chain, sustainability, regulatory compliance and CEO of the Year award. Previous winners include a who’s who of pharma manufacturing CEOs from Piramal and WuXi AppTec to Catalent and last year’s winner Aragen Life Sciences
