Vishal Chaturvedi has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Medikabazaar, India’s premier digital platform for healthcare procurement. With an educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and IIT, Chaturvedi boasts nearly two decades of experience in the technology sector, having previously held positions at Samsung, Amazon, British Telecom, Jio, and BlackBuck.
Founded by Vivek Tiwari and Ketan Malkan in 2015, Medikabazaar connects sellers with medical establishments for efficient and cost-effective procurement. The platform sources high-quality medical supplies and equipment from China, the US, and Europe, collaborating with manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare facilities of various sizes.
In his new role, Chaturvedi will concentrate on fortifying Medikabazaar’s technology vision and creating innovative technology products. He will also focus on tackling complex healthcare supply chain issues and exploring digital monetization possibilities for the company.
