The DTH is a shining star in the fight against avoidable blindness, with state-of-the-art technology including a modern wet lab, artificial eyes, and virtual reality setup, all expertly guided by a knowledgeable faculty. By merging digitization, simulation, tele-education, telemedicine, and hands-on training, the DTH is creating a future filled with highly skilled ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists-in-training, and ophthalmic nurses.
The DTH offers a wealth of training opportunities, including Sandwich Fellowships, Observerships, and Hospital Based Trainings. These programs, delivered through a blended learning approach, provide healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to tackle even the toughest challenges.
