This cutting-edge facility offers healthcare professionals the tools they need to improve their ophthalmic care capacity, including simulation training, tele-mentorship, hands-on training, and more.
The DTH is a shining star in the fight against avoidable blindness, with state-of-the-art technology including a modern wet lab, artificial eyes, and virtual reality setup, all expertly guided by a knowledgeable faculty. By merging digitization, simulation, tele-education, telemedicine, and hands-on training, the DTH is creating a future filled with highly skilled ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists-in-training, and ophthalmic nurses.
The DTH offers a wealth of training opportunities, including Sandwich Fellowships, Observerships, and Hospital Based Trainings. These programs, delivered through a blended learning approach, provide healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to tackle even the toughest challenges. The Remote Surgical Mentorships offer a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn from global experts during live ophthalmic surgeries.
