Apollo Hospital Navi Mumbai is proud to announce that it has achieved a historic milestone by completing 535 solid organ transplants. This feat has been achieved due to the cutting-edge multi-organ transplantation program, one of the largest and most comprehensive at the Apollo Institutes of Transplant, at Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai.
Beginning 2017, Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai has performed 327 kidney transplants, 200 liver transplants, and 8 heart transplants.
One of the key aspects that set Apollo apart is the specialized transplant teams that offer individualized treatment to transplant patients. The integrated team approach includes transplant surgeons, nephrologists, hepatologists/gastroenterologists, paediatric gastroenterologists, paediatric surgeons, anaesthetists, critical care specialists, radiologists, physicians, pulmonologists, infectious disease consultants, immunologists, pathologists, transplant coordinators, trained ICU ward nurses, and liaison officers.
